AbstractA huge volcanic eruption occurred at the Volcano Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haapai, South Pacific-Ocean (20.6 S, 175.4W), on 15 January 2022 at 04:15 UT, provoked a variety of atmospheric waves: Earthquakes, atmospheric pressure waves (Lamb mode), acoustic and internal gravity waves. These waves propagated from the troposphere to ionosphere in global scale, those provided us a rare opportunity to understand the dynamical processes in the atmosphere as a whole system. From the south American sector, we observed at least 9 different travelling ionospheric disturbances (TIDS) those related to Tsunami and Lamb waves. They are stating from the SW of the Chile sector propagating toward the equator, interacting with the equatorial ionosphere. We present a general feature of the observed TIDs and to study possible influence of the Tsunami and Lamb waves in the equatorial ionosphere.
